Dexter Sports FPL 2024/25

This time last year we celebrated one of our 50s players topping the Dexter Sports Fantasy Premier League (FPL) mini-league. FPL is the official Premier League fantasy football game, played by millions across the world every season.

The game has been around for a while now. You might know it better as fantasy football? From humble beginnings in 2002, it’s grown to the point where 11.5 million ‘managers’ played in the 2024/25 season – a new record high number of entries.

Dexter Sports FPL mini-league

A mini-league is a collection of FPL players who have a common interest. They may be work colleagues, friends, family, or supporters of the same football team. As the name would suggest, the Dexter Sports mini-league is for those connected to our family of teams.

The Dexter Sports mini-league had dozens of entrants last season, and was won once again by Simon Allen… that’s two seasons in-a-row. He won the league by 135 points from Liam Stiggants in second place. His total of 2,480 was good enough for a position around 180k in the world (just outside the top 1.5%).

As we mentioned, Simon also won the mini-league the previous season as well. On that occasion he scored 1,477 points and finished with an overall rank of 118k. His best finish was inside the top 4k at the end of the COVID affected 2019/20 season.

If you were in the 2024/25 version of the Dexter Sports FPL mini-league then you’ll automatically be re-entered for the new season… as long as the mini-league owner re-launches it for us! Who that owner is, we don’t know, but if you do, let us know below in the comments.

New Season, New FPL Rules
